Out of the blue, you told mommy "Mommy, you have to teach me how to cook before you die, ok?" Mommy was dumbstruck by your words for a moment, not knowing how to respond to this question.
On the same note, you also told me that Carise will die first, followed by you then Caleb. Your logic is that the older one will die first. It took me some time and effort to explain to you that this may not always be the case.
We realised then that this topic about death came about in your conversation with your classmate regarding her neighbour having parents who died young. Kind of weird to know that kids at your age talks about such things...
Anyway, mommy is hopeful that with your understanding that things will not always be there, you will appreciate her more, and other things in life, instead of taking them for granted.
