NYPS mid autumn festival

You came back on Wednesday asking whether me or mommy would like to perform with you for Parent/Grandparent and child talent competition. And the day of performance is Friday!!! Somebody who was supposed to participate contracted HFMD and needed to pull out.

I decided to pair up with you thinking it was a rare opportunity for you to experience performing to a big audience. 

Without much practice, we decided upon 月亮代表我的心 and 小薇 as you knew how to sing both and I can play both on ukulele.

On actual day, there was such a big audience that you became nervous, and I was worried that you might chicken out. Fortunately, we pressed on, did our best on the stage, the Best Father Daughter Forever team!

Never expected anything from this, but in the end, we ended up as the runners up for the competition!!! 

As long as we have put in our best, the final outcome is immaterial.

Daddy will always love you, no matter what happens. But don't give me too many surprises, if you can.
