Your mommy and I thought that chicken pox vaccination would be a very good thing for you. So that you need not go through this unnecessarily in the future. As such, appointment was made for this with Dr Koh.
I was very concerned with how you would be able to take the injection. Picturing in my mind how to make you feel at ease and confident, when the injection is being administered. I was thinking of giving you sweets, buying you toys or even bringing you to a place of your liking etc, just to overcome this episode.
While my mind was still not made up, the time for injection arrived. The whole event took place so quickly that you felt a flinch, but so briefly that you didn't make a sound at all!
You were so brave and courageous that Dr Koh was also surprised and complimented you being a very good girl.
Daddy and mommy are extremely proud of you, you bravery and courage. All daddy needed to give you was a sweet, and that brings a big smile on your face. All other things that I have thought of earlier seemed so unnecessary.
